And all the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them. Nehemiah 8:12 ESV<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again the Advent Season is upon us. Advent is a great time to reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/sup><\/strong>God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 8th chapter of Nehemiah, we read about how Ezra comes before the people to read from the book, from the Law of God, translating to give the sense so that they understood the reading. Not only did Ezra read, others taught so that the people would understand what was read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To truly celebrate Christmas, we need to understand what it is all about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
